People don't know how absolutely lucky they are to be able to read, cut and paste all the pertinent info thats posted here. This information is priceless. For example, the tip I recieved the other day saved me $300 on a new shaft, no doubt that tip will make some money for me at a later date, but it didn't cost me anything more than a heartfelt thanks. I've had offers from cue makers to call at anytime with questions. Now how...

maybe you could maybe you couldn't but no descent player would ever shoot with a cue like that with a spring or something, and we just beat up some sort of paintball gun air powered cue, that their own player rep trashed on LMAO. No touch and feel to it.

For controller sw, you really can't beat Mach 3 for the price. LazyCam, however, was an abandoned attempt at a CAM package, so there is not much future in that. Several here (including me) use BobCad, which is a pretty good CAD/CAM package for the money at about $500. If you know how to use it, it will do everything that you could want to do on a cue and then some. An added benefit is ...

I'd buy some but they need to be over sized. Like around 5/8" at the ferrule, 1.1" at the joint, 1.35" at the butt. Most builders install everything large then machin it flush.

They also sponsor TAR which...

It sounds like you are doing your first steps correctly. After attaching the forearm to handle, if the center of the cue has any wobble in it, wedge the center over in the end of the butt with small pieces of tape or paper, until the center joint turns true. Then take a taper pass and clean it up. Then fill the center hole with epoxy putty and re-center drill. Once you make sure the center ...
