Interesting report, OZ 's J Class product looks quite good. Quoting Planereality ( Thread starter ): Just before the staff began checking in passengers, they all came out from behind the desk, lined up and sang a song in Chinese and then bowed. Very impressive, that even beats what I saw in Japan. Quoting Planereality ( Thread starter ): All of the on-demand movies were in Korean, which is a problem if you do not speak Korean. Luckily,...

Hello(!), Just to say merci for the report etc. The food looked pretty damn nice. I'm flying to Chicago OHare next week and have booked a couple of day trips on American Airlines and United but I had completely forgotton that Continental existed. Might try to book a flight on them (they're the ones who still serve free food right!). Many thanks, Pierre.

Hi Christoph, Great report & pictures, really enjoyed your trip, where was the 'Venice' photo taken? Quoting Contact Air ( Thread starter ): I used the online check-in option on the day before my flight and secured my window seat 4F but I decided to print my boarding pass at the airport in order to get a “real” one. - I do that too! Hey, Lars and Phil and thanx for you´re replies. @Lars: Quoting The777Man ( Reply 12 ): Great report with fantastic pistures of Venice! I was there 20 years ago but it still looks the same, amazing city. Maybe time to go again?. @Phil: Quoting OA260 ( Reply 13 ): Love the E170 the best , its one of my favourite A/C as you know. I need to get some more flights under my belt on it. Here too, from the newer types actually my favourite....

Quoting FlyingFinn76 ( Reply 18 ): The distance in miles for the same flight is 5994 miles, so maybe the quite given by the crew was in miles instead? I asked for nm and they all replied in nm. Actually I only asked for the distance because I wanted to get a lot of info about the flights. You know, to get it more detailed. Maybe they gave me normal miles. Is definetely a possibility. But you can look the flight up on flightaware and check out...

Quoting LH748i ( Reply 17 ): Maybe the distances given by the cockpit are different to the usual ones because I asked them directly. And that means, detours for thunderstorms (I think we had two) are included... You think they are wrong? Yes, I thought about this possibility and this probably would account for small differences of a few hundred nms (or in other words maybe 10% or so of the great circle route). What really caught my eye was...

Hi Carfield, great report with many nice pictures! It's quite impressive how AS celebrates such inaugural flights. As for the F/As: I flew on AS for the first time some weeks ago ( SEA - SJC ) and was very surprised about the nice crew. I also liked the 738's interior (e.g. seats, colors, carpet). I will say, thank you for the photos of the Cape, and the amazing museum that any aviation (space) enthusiast would enjoy. To be so close to the launch pad, and to walk alongside a real, once ready-to-fly Saturn V rocket is a dream come true. And the size of those 5 engines has to be seen to be believed. Thanks for taking me back there, ahh, the memories.

Well done, another interesting report with many nice pictures. Quoting LH748i ( Thread starter ): We made our way to the bus stop to catch the airportexpress bus. Very enjoyable part 2 with great pictures from Hawaii. The NZ catering looks quite good again. Nice report with an interestiong selection of airlines. Quoting FlyingFinn76 ( Thread starter ): What's wrong with people - these ARE the best seats in the house (well, 1 ABC are probably a bit better yet but then you'd be facing the drag queen and her wrath!) and people are not using the opportunity.
