Quoting 757MDE ( Reply 45 ): Not quite. I see where you are coming from in regards of full global terrorism Jihad war wacko style, but the drugs here fuel the FARC which are terrorists themselves, even though limited to our internal sphere and maybe some in Ecuador or Venezuela. And with a few policy changes, we could see that not another cent goes to FARC. But it won't happen. Quoting 757MDE ( Reply 45 ): Then again it's not a...

Quoting LMP737 ( Reply 30 ): You know what would be funny, if the President stopped by to see how he was doing. Smile That would actually be quite interesting. I actually read (somewhere) on a liberal blog this morning that Limbaugh was stalking him. But imagine if Obama did show up to wish him well? Limbaugh would probably find some way to convince his minions that Obama was making fun of him, so it wouldn't be worth Obama's time...

His is a well balanced outlook due to having a log on EACH shoulder. Quoting Texan ( Reply 123 ): Really? In my travels to three continents everybody seemed to enjoy Americans. Quoting Seb146 ( Reply 85 ): Senators on behalf of for-profit insurance corporations? Unlike the ones that passed on the democratic side that were nothing but payment for votes? Votes the demcoratic party should have been able to count on? Yet somehow it always comes back that some how the GOP is at fault that the legislation is having such a tough time becoming law. Quoting GatorFan ( Reply 69 ): It's right in your quote: "...EXCEPT IN TIME OF WAR OR PUBLIC DANGER...." You read it wrong. It's an "unless... except" article. Read it again and I'll emphasis what I mean: Quoting DocLightning ( Reply 65 ): UNLESS on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, EXCEPT in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or...

Quoting UAL747 ( Thread starter ): This does not affect Fox News. Too bad. Quoting UAL747 ( Thread starter ): Because of a lack in advertising, they want $1.00 per cable subscriber from Time Warner, or they pull the networks. A lack of advertising? What? Quoting UAL747 ( Thread starter ): The senate and FCC are involved now. This will be interesting. I wonder if the NFL is involved as well? Quoting Ken777 ( Reply 2 ): It would be interesting...

Quoting LY772 ( Reply 6 ): you would need a lot of diplomatic work The diplomatic work will be done before any strike on Iran. Probably not much diplomatic work will really required anyway ... the world will be outraged and unified against Israel in the event of a strike on Iran . One thing we know is that the "world" can really unite for the cause when it comes to Israels survival.... I do not support a strike on Iran at this point...

My $1600 self-built nuclear bomb of a computer, and Windows 7 Pro for $30
Worse, eh, can't think of any, but the most painful was my most expensive ($300), most gorgeous, best flying, and largest R/C airplane that only lasted 3 flights due to catastrophic structural failure

You mean besides the death? Well, they all involve blowing stuff up, that's the basic common denominator. The other thing is, most if not all, received training from terrorist groups in the middle east. Everything points back to that region.

I don't know if it matters to you, but laws (and court cases have supported such) one is not in the US until you have cleared border immigration controls, and many common protections normally available(eg Miranda rights, warrants etc) do not apply to folks in this legal no mans land.

Well, let's expand it. Why do some folks who disagree with someone's position 'hate' that person along with the position?
I use Obama and Bush as recent examples. I know people who hate Bush. They get emotional and red with rage. I just ...

Quoting DocLightning ( Thread starter ): 1) TSA should not have the power to institute any new or "emergency" security measures without review from an outside entity (be it congressional or a panel of industry experts) to ensure that the rules are reasonable, likely to have any benefit, and fair. This needn't be lengthy; it could be done in a few hours if TSA thinks it's urgent....

How very heartwarming that two major religions can put their differences aside in their quest to persecute the gays. The proposed bill itself is absolutely lunacy and incredibly dangerous if enacted. For one, there is mention that a Ugandan living outside Uganda who is found to be gay may be returned to Uganda to face the consequences.
Second, the implications relative to the ...
