Hi all I am looking for suitable C-bus Energy Metering devices for home and building automation projects, mainly for new appartment blocks. I have seen on the internet a new Energy Metering Device from Australa ( www.synctek.com.au ) called a Em20 Energy Meter that connects directly to the C-Bus Network and measures 3 phase electrical energy as well as gas and water consumption, it looks quite good and has pc software drivers. Has anyone had...

I have experience with leading and trailing edge but not c-bus. You will find trailing edge both quieter and more expensive, buzzing noise can be usual with dimmers especially those that have small chokes because of size or price limitations. One tip to minimise buzzing is to make sure you exceed the minimum quoted load for the channel.
