A full exhaust and tuned Xr6T (BA) is worth 250rwkw and a flat 13 second pass. It should have more flexibility in its power delivery than a BOSS V8 also punching out 250rwkw. Hence should be quicker. In controlled conditions I had my BOSS (270rwkw and 4.11 gears) exchange pleasantries with this XR6T rolling start from around 50km/h to around 120km/h and on each and every run, my BOSS pulled away, convincingly mid range and topend. I was...

Wow, that's a slight upgrade, how do you find rear end traction/handling with all the new kit installed? That's the exact set-up I'd like to do in my Manual XR8.

side note: your exhaust is aftermarket (well your tips at least) looks to be an X-Force system.

the X3 can have 'custom' tunes put in it. They throw ya can on the dyno and adjust timing and fuel maps to get more power out of it (and usually better economy as they can make them a bit leaner than the factory tune). Can also do things such as allow for bigger injectors, change rev limits and things like that.

Taking into account the vehicles you've built over the last couple of years Dan, this comes as no real surprise, but I would not be exaggerating to say - I'm speachless, ....... again!!!
Love your work mate, another inspiring thread will unfold on the forums.

Great idea, why don't we all just stick to posting what we have, don't quote other users, No BS jibes at other products.
Personally..
BPR CAI - Looks Factory, Massive induction noise, Better Fuel Economy & Throttle Responce.
Herrod Headers, Cats & Exhaust - Not a Standard system as has 2 x Magnaflow resinators instead of rear mufflers.. sounds fantastic and performs well.

I'd be seeing if the Hi Tech system designed in conjunction with forum member "BionicGT" for his BF GT & Cobra can be adapted to a FG GT they are a extremely nice sounding system and the quality is fantastic.
D/F systems Sound nice, although the Weld Quality was lacking a little on my mates now sold BFII XR8 Ute.
Herrod Systems are always a good Middle ground option a little quiet for ...
