Depends on the dealer mate, I'm sure there's a dealer out there that wants your money. Or perhaps, find one at Aust fleet sales or a smaller private yard, they tend to be more flexible with test drives. I'm a younger bloke and I was looking to see how VE SS's felt to drive earlier this year before I bought the FG. My nearest Holden dealer wanted me to put some money down before the drive to ensure I was serious. I laughed...

i won't be dumping it, i'm not a kid.. i just want it at a respectable height, so i doubt it would tax the cv's too much.

How long have you had your car JGB?? Was yours one of the first ones delivered?? Warranty starts the car the car is delivered, not the build date!

Here is the list of the things that you should do. You already changed the plugs so far. You should follow the list below in order. Cheapest way is first and followed by more expensive stuff. 1-Clean the throttle body. 2-Check for the intake manifold leaks 3-Clean the fuel regulator 4-Finish the tank and fill up with 98 octane Bp ultimate. Also buy a bottle of nulon injector cleaner and add it in the fuel. 5-Change the fuel filter 6-Change...

I expect that they will not warrant any suspension components if it is changed. (I asked the exact question of a Ford dealer a while back re: a brand new Focus)

If the advert says "will fit AU to FG" then it will fit AU, BA, BF, FG. The others that say "will fit AU to BF" may look the same but may be smaller or slightly different to the untrained eye.

My BF is lowered and the DSC still works... also has 19's with no problem. Warranty.. probably - when I bought mine it was lowered by the dealer, asked if warranty was voided they said no and wrote it on a fax they sent to me. Any issues i'll just wave that at them and ask them nicely to fix it.

Accelerator pedal shaft has a small "spike" on it which engages when the pedal itself is slid upwards when fitted. If you can slide a mirror behind the pedal and shine a torch on it, you'll see what I mean. I used a small flat blade screwdriver and fitted it into the top of the plastic housing behind the pedal and opened it up a bit, then gave the pedal a sharp hit downwards and off it came....

Picked up a brand new g6e turbo the other week and i noticed something strange about the accelerator pedal. it seemed when it was pushed to around 3/4 throttle if felt like it was all the way down until I pushed and little more and it like clicked over and went down to the floor. Is this the overboost feature or a jamming pedal?

Welcome to the forum! Cat and extractors aren't necessary, they will boost your performance but are not required if you just want the car to sound nice. Also, if you replace the cat or extractors you will lose your motor's warranty. I'd recommend a stainless steel cat back system (everthing new from the cat back). They can be had for under a thousand dollars, or well over (I opted for a ...
