Well , that was one reason why I said not to worry about the "cycle.txt" ... It is only needed if you want (have) to use a different emulation from time to time. Let's say for a long journey with a lot of tunnels you would like the x30 emulation because the day/night-switching works and otherwise you prefer the x40 ... Without "cycle.txt" you would have to use the PC to change the setconfig.txt or the...

Awesome, Thanks. BTW, there seem to be two versions of 'switch files settings'. - i thought they were the same and only found the first basic one. The latter being much more expansive, and was able to work many things out for myself. Excellent guide!

I used your easy activator, now all seems to be ok, 1 thing, on the main screen it has a Google Icon, dont think it does anything so should I remove it and if so ...How Thanks John

can you install on this Original TT Navacor, I tried on 730 official navcore and activated maps , activator, KG says activated but on device its not able to use! error message!!

I have Finaly installed Miopocket into the AWA, it does work, but it is a little sluggish, i susspect that is caused by the fact it only has a 200Mhz processor (At least I think it is), it's been a while since I have seen the Specs. I did have to muck about a bit to get the installer running, I had to put MioPocket onto an SD card (the on board flash is far to small to fit MioPocket on), the compleat package is more that 128Mb the...

I have a chinese 3.5 unit and it works like a charm , many thanks.
1st time i have been able to get TT running, but like Garmin has to
run in windows explorer , which I access with a menu.
I also have NZ map as well as I make the odd trip over there so will come in
handy.

You can use the new maps with your current Navcore - just look for "Australia" and " 840" in the forum the 840.2562 will give you all ne features.
However you will need to activate the map and patch the Navcore in order to make it work!
For that I suggest to use the Keygen3.1G ,which can be found after searching the forum or the threads I started.
Would be a good start to read the newbie ...

Yea...it's just that its an el cheapo unit that loses all its data if the batteryruns flat as per any PDA type device.
The old man is getting fed up of having to reinstall all the programs from scratch every time. A backup program would be a lot easier, just restore the image and it's done.
There must be something out there for CE?
