The NYSE closed on Tuesday January 16 at:
The Dow rose 26.51, or 0.21 percent, to 12,582.59. The index reached a new trading high of 12,585.08 earlier in the session.
Broader stock indicators were mixed. The Standard & Poor's 500 index was up 1.17, or 0.08 percent, at 1,431.90, and the Nasdaq composite index fell 5.04, or 0.20 percent, to 2,497.78.

Hey all.
Has anyone ever traded this? I know of a few traders who trade pretty much JUST this and seem to be doing quite well, as far as I understand its not quite as liquid as the S&P, but still seems quite tradeable. I have never traded it, I was thinking of trying it out for a while and posting thoughts & analysis in here, as can anyone else who trades it, like the S&P500 thread.

I don't think they can inflate their way out this time, not for a few years anyway, due to the sheer magnitude of the deflation that is occurring ( collapsing real estate, debt default). If they try to borrow the funds necessary to counter the deflation, interest rates soar. If they try to print sufficient funds, foreign lending to the US dries up because nobody wants to get paid back in devalued...
