Port, There are recommendations on this forum regarding brokers. I can only agree with others that the broker should be regulated by ASIC if local and by the US regulators if there. You need to be confident about the company and how they hold your funds. I use FXCM and have no issues with them. Originally I set up with them in the US, but the account transferred to FXCM Aus. I have USD and AUD accounts and feel comparatively safe as...

Running the scripts is working fine, the system just won't take the order when it has sl & tp with the order. I've altered the scripts to do it in 2 stages, place the order without sl & tp and then modify the sl & tp and it works fine so I'll stick with that. Kim

Lol. Hi stormin. I never got back to this. Got too busy with ASX. Since this time I've tried a lot of non-automated ideas on FX and found a few workable ones which I do trade but I'm not running any automated ideas yet. I guess I like watching the DOM too much.

Currenex is a solution/platform for brokers to buy and "brand" (white label) for themselves. There's Bucketshop MT4 and then there's real ECN platforms like Currenex. Currenex used to be an exclusive pro-trader platform only (i.e required $100,000 to open an account) but many brokers are chasing the retail traders with Currenex platforms - just need to be wary because some are posing as true ECN/Currenex brokers but...

What is the criteria to determine "best"?
Personally I like MT4 (soon to be MT5). I like the programming interface and the scripting language. It's fast and stable. You can be trading on multiple accounts simultaneously from different terminal sessions. I don't like some of the internal distributions of functions/functionality in the file system.

By my count the Yen may be headed to 110 odd... missed the original chance to get on this earlier, instead going with a short on the EUR/JPY which is still struggling.. .. will be keeping an eye on this for an entry if it plays out to my count..

Hey everyone,
Does anyone here use Go Markets as an fx broker and if so, could you shed some light on the pro's/con's of their service?
Currently with Oanda however I'm not a fan of their withdrawal fees and would much prefer an MT4 platform. Also the ability to trade other instruments with GM is appealing.

Good morning guys.
It is a less than ideal way to trade, but I had some internet issues last night and was unable to follow the EUR/GBP wave like I had planned.
Looking at the charts now, the other pairs I like to trade were mostly corrective type movements overnight anyway so I didn't miss much.
The E/G order was filled a few hours into London, and there were a few Chaos style ...
