Try the free WebIRESS demo platform from Morrison Securities by following this link: http://www.morrisonsecurities.com/internettrading. php View the chart for APZ9 (I'm quite sure that is the code but do confirm it yourself) to get the Dec 09 SPI futures contract. You can then right click on the chart to download the EOD data ie. Right click over the chart >> edit chart >> export data.

Hi, I've searched the posts and seen general tax questions but couldn't find this particular answer so was hoping someone might be able to answer. If I buy a CFD (long) and I get charged say $10 each way in commissions and I hold the CFD for say two weeks and I have to pay $20 in interest. This is a total expense for the trade of $40. Can I claim this in my tax return as a ...

I had just began using built in added protection when opening my ICs, so my risk graphs were pointing upwards (this helped heaps). If it was'nt for these and adjusting I don't know...

My opinion only using excel spreadsheet so may not be totally accurate. Stuffed if i know how to make money when Vol returns to those extreme lows.

DMA is the way to go, because it's identical to trading the real market, ie. same market depth, same spread, can participate in opening and closing auctions, etc. Your orders are hedged by the CFD provider by real orders in the market, so the CFD provider is not affected by movements in your positions. Market Maker CFD's on the other hand can have differnet bid and ask prices, and wider ...
