Doug, I've lost track of the price point for these, but this seems decent to me: 6th Avenue Electronics has the TC-P46G15 and DMP-BD60 for $1080 delivered . The price dropped $49 since yesterday's (or maybe it was this morning's) sale price.

I find it very hard to watch SD after a couple of years of 90% HD, I guess we spoil ourselves to a fault. I can deal with only HD, no problem, lol.

I was in a Pauls Tv a few nights ago and saw the 46'' G15 on sale for 1199.00(with blu-ray) My brother picked up the 50'' G15 with a bluray player for 1400 bucks...its crazy how cheap the good quality tv's are getting. I personally would wait a month or two and save up an extra couple hundred to get the G10 or G15.

The KRP-500M is capable of delivering the more accurate picture. It also uses less power and supposedly has even slightly better black levels. The only advantage of the PDP-5020FD is that it has more HDMI inputs (4 vs. 2) and it comes with a table-top stand and speakers (the 500M comes with neither). So long as you can get a wall mount or a stand for the 500M and you already have ...
