The grills should not be nailed on. They slide back and forth in a channel. You need to fiddle with them a bit, you'll figure out how to get them out. The tweeters on these models do not hold up well after a few decades of time have gone by. I would first recap the crossovers, see how that sounds, and then if you're not satisfied swap out the tweeters for something more modern.

Not sure but, the cabs look good, maybe real wood???

Could be a good risk for someone like Merrylander, who knows his way around the insides of these. The ad notes that it has been in a box since 1977 and that the dials are stiff, but it looks like the tuner section works. With some work, it could be a bargain

I have a set of Monitor Series 4's that I think are quite decent... they seem to have adequate bass extension for their size, along with reasonable imaging and detail, are not over bright. Only complaint on those particular speakers is I think there may be some box resonance going on. Only sometimes on certain material they give the slightest hint of sounding boxy to me. Not enough to bug me....

I wouldn't do it... on CL I will only deal face to face. You have no way to recover anything with CL..

The Bell equipment is pretty decent in general, at least I think so. I have a Bell 2315 monophonic amp that looks similar to yours. And I think I have the same tuner, model 2520. Really kick ass style on these pieces ! You can make a nice setup using them. With 6v6 output tubes you'll need some pretty efficient speakers, but the good news is 6v6 tubes are very sweet sounding.
