I did just think that fault code didn't match up to the problem I have with my horn when I posted that
The car is a 2001
Audi a3 TDi, ASV engine.
The alarm does work though, as it sounds when I leave the windows open and don't press the interior disarm switch.

well after getting insurance quotes for an e46 m3, its a no go for a few years,im getting bored of my s3 and want more power , so im thinking of selling my s3 and getting this one or a big turboed one,what do you think?

APS fit jabbasport stuff. You'll need the Garret IHI hybrid they developed with Owens, to get a proper 380hp.
You'l od it on a 1.8, you will do it easier with better spool on a 1.9L bottom end.
Dont go mad with revs, the
valvetrain is suspect after 7500, maybe sooner! But a set of one piee valved is pricey and not a guarantee you wont have problems.

Welcome to the site 1st.
Yeah just open it up & IIRC there are 2 screws that show themselves once its open, at the rear, stick a torch in there mate, but be warned at rear iirc there was a rubber kind of bush or 2, just make sure these are attached still when you reposition it, also has the wiring attached.

alrite mate i got the 1.
6 97 with 107 on the clock for 1600 as my first car.
i'm paying 1600 for the insurance too but thats under my dads with 9yrs ncd.
you can pick a newer tidier 1.9tdi for cheaper but i didnt even check the insurance on them cos i expected the worst, but hearing other people i'd definitely look down that route, i'm thinking about swapping mine to that next year tbh after ...
