Well the s4 would be my choice. Owning both cars i can say this. If you choose the s4 have 5000$ put a side for repairs. The 2.8 is a very smooth car though. What kind of money are we talking about the differance in price? Are they clean titles? Do they have repair logs? How you like to drive? Are there any dings or dents/ and where they are? What are the spec's to each car ? Let me know and i'll give you some of the best insight...

Yes it stalls under any condition. No the engine light will be on the car won't stall then the eps or whatever light will flash and car will studder and check engine light will go off and car will start stalling. I hear the click in the dash when that happens. So when the cel is on the car runs. No where on the car do I check the grounds.

It is starting to get cold and wet again with some salt on the road and the rear breaks start squeaking again with every tap on the break - it is driving me INSANE! Can a lay person do this, or do I need special equipment? Do I need to visit an audi specialist or can any mechanic make this happen? I should have leveraged this into my deal, too! What a good idea! I sort of have a similar issue except my trunk only opens manually with the key, it does not open from the door or the key fob. BUT it does make the electronic bzzzzz like it is going to open, but it stays locked. I did check to make sure the trunk key position is correct. It's interesting that someone else said nothing else electrical is going on except they had to change out a brake light - well, so did I yesterday and that is when the...

The glovebox latch on my 2004 Avant has snapped. Is there an alternative way to open the flap and access the latch for repair? Thanks Ian

Hi folks, Car: A4 quattro sport auto, 3.0l V6. Problem: Got in the car this morning and it drove fine, after about 20mile drive to work, when i was slowing down to park up i noticed the car was shakin quite vigorously on idle, even when it was in park, it was idling around 900rpm and this is when it occured, it would go away when the revs were taken to 1000rpm or above. Hi, I've just bought the above car and wonder if it has 4WD as standard? Just that was caught in the snow and only seemed that front wheels were spinning. Is there a switch to activiate 4wd? This is my first Audi.....!

...............that is the question. s4 will be 3 years old in March 2010. Can't believe I've had it nearly this long. So, is it worth getting a warranty or not? Yet to source any warranty prices but could do with advice on warranty companies & prices please. ps Happy Xmas to everyone
