the german mechanic i took it to told me if he could do a 5 speed swap for me for cheaper than what i would pay to have it rebuilt.

Hello there, I bought a A4 this Oct, 65K miles now and there are some problems: 1 the fuel pump broken at Nov, I paid 660 bulks to fix it 2 the right dipped headlight and left rear fog light broken recently (now I am trying to change the bulb myself). 3 the driver's side window can not move down automatically I didn't buy the warranty when I bought the car. Now based on this situation, I am think about if I need buy a warranty for...

I don't see why not...Just make sure everything is exactly the same connection wise. Unless these newer Audi's are tempermental and have to have the 55w bulbs. But if your going to replace one with a 100w bulb...do the other side aswell or I'm sure you will have probs!

I finally got the radio removal tools and you were right! I pulled the radio out and was able to push out the climate control from the back. Once that was out I was able to reinstall the ash tray properly and everything else went back together without a problem............Thanks

Sounds way too expensive to me ..... If your A4 has only done 44k and has a full service record you wont need a warranty any way ... Its just throwing your money away ..
