Guys, why is Bobby Cox not playing Prado? He's been killing the ball! What the heck is the prob? (i picked him up in fantasy and he has been sat the last two games...)

Dearest Braves Fans, It is with deep regret that your team has not been the force it once was the past 2 years. It was a great rivalry for 14 years and I actually miss the tension those games had. At least the Braves had class the Phillies are so clearly lacking. (With the exception of John Rockhead). Would it be too much to ask that you support your team this month in it'...

I wanted to see them take the division over Boston and New York big money teams. Looks like the Red Sox will take the lead in the final month.

Miss is up 2-0 in their playoff series and MB is up 2-1. There have been four outstanding pitching performances for the wins and one bad inning in the loss. Myrtle Beach: Scott Diamond - 7 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K (16th win of the season against 3 losses) Cole Rhorbough - 6 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 3 K (Has been struggling, nice outing) Miss: Todd Redmond - 8 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 9K (14th ...

I know he started a rehab in the minors, apparently August 12th was his last minor league game? Did he re- injure his knee?

Here is what I think the bullpen will look like next year: a. Gonzalez- closer b. Smoltz- set up guy c. Moylan 7th inning d. Soriano- 6th inning e. Boyer - mop up; long relief f. Tavarez- spot starter; relief g. Valdez- surprise rookie from Mississippi h. Will Ohman will be re-signed It could be that Smoltz won't be able to play or he will start. In that case, I see Manny Acosta in ...

I know I tend to ramble. Let me bullet-point it: -Not happy in Toronto -A franchise that doesn't do enough to win -In a stacked division -Great f'ing pitcher -Wants to go to a team that can win -Turner: not too much pressure (like NY), not Canadian (bonus!) -Money to give -Sabathia will get $20394203948 million, Sheets = Hampton -Holliday, Jurrjens, Lowe (he.ll yeah!), Campillo, Morton = win...

The man {a human being} can only manage the talent he has in front of him and this year that talent is no where to be seen except the regulars McCann and Chipper. Take a minute and look at all the clubs alive in the playoff hunt, they all have several BIG name guys w/talent and that is what you need to win a championship in any sport is TALENT and Atlanta is short on that this year. Now what I...

There are fans on this board who have been calling for Bobby Cox's resignation or termination for the last 3 years. I'm curious now as to what excuses his supporters can muster up to keep him. Let's see. "It's not his fault all of his starting pitchers have had season-ending surgery." No, it isn't. It's not Frank Wren's fault either. But it is Frank Wren's fault that the loss of said ...

Wow in referring to Chipper Jones taking another day off due to a hangover or whatever Jerome Jurenovich states; '' I think it's better that he takes today off instead of the last day of the season so he doesn't back into it (the batting title.)'' So what is the difference? And why isn't he feeling good today, after getting his 20th homer last night what did he do stay out all night ...

It it so incredibly frustrating that this guy sat in the minors all year. Blanco HAS been serviceable. But Anderson is superior in the outfield, as well as the basepaths. His speed would have really helped earlier in the season. Great call Bobby....great call.

With all of the injuries he has had since 2004 (and now a groin strain) I'm taking Ben Sheets off my wish list for next season. Wren better be wise with the money and not sign players with a history of injuries and IMO that should include Hampton, Glavine and Smoltz...

I know the only race this team is in is for the cellar but get real . A tweaked knee . The Braves concede the season . No problem . Smart move . Conceding the batting title ? Ok , its your deal

I thought we were done with that sorry excuse for a baseball player? Could someone please tell me what good it would do for this team to bring up this guy again? Cut this guy and stop wasting our money on this loser. Save that money for next year! We saw him this year already! He showed us that he couldn't cut it, so cut him loose and bring up someone worth giving a chance to.
