I am with smart telecom for broadband at 6mb when I did the speed test on their site it stated speed at 4374 kbps, I also checked another online speed check that was 4.1mb, so should the test come back as bang on 6MB,

Windows 7 is nice. But theres nothing for me that is a need to have. Its just a nice to have.

Cheap Disgo netbook (only know them from their pen drives/memory sticks) for €123.49 on play.com. It will cover internet use and you can use a portable version of Microsoft Office with it (run it from pen drive). It should do her job adequately.
