you need to be careful with snuffle balm because nearly all are for children over 3months. if she has a blocked nose then normal saline nasal drops will clear it up and can been given to any child. just a drop in each nasal will clear the block up.

oh hun I'm so sorry I've no idea what's for the best for you - but no heartbeat at 8 weeks is generally pretty conclusive, so maybe the D&C is for the best? hope you recover quickly, and remember that this won't take away from the baby you are destined to have - it will only add to it. {{{{hugs}}} Anna xx _________________

Sorry if stating the obvious, but have you raised her cot / mattress? Also, if you have anyway of humidifying her room it might help, as the air will be dry with heating on. Also some snufflebabe, olbas oil or Karvol might be worth a go, just to relieve congestion? (even if it's not in her nose). Hth x

same as anglebabies has said.
also fresh air will do her the world of good even if it is cold just wrap her up warm. we took rowan out when he was really ill over chritmas and he'd sleep the whole time he as out and would be a lot better when we got home. _________________ A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did...

Ruby has had the runs for nearly 2 weeks now.
Have phoned the docs and my HV and both have said if she's well in herself, no temp, rash etc and taking her feeds well then not too worry too much.
I wondered if any one else has had this problem? Ruby is breast fed , is well in herslf, is feeding well etc but still has this awful green runny poo which is quite smelly at times.

You can take her temp under the arm but I find a digital ear thermometer to be easier, you can get them dead cheap from the chemist!
If she does have a cold then just keep her comfortable and give lots of cuddles from mummy and daddy

We went through the same thing..and wondered too, I used to give him calpol before bed as he would wake an hour later screaming..but it went on for a while, longer than 3 days
But i'm sure it'll be fine..I think when it says that on the packet its more to do with getting the pain investigated/sorted by a professional rather than just giving pain relief. But when it comes to teething, ...
