Bump! Listening to Closer to Fine. Can never listen to this band and NOT think of Tim. Just shared this thread with my sister. Miss you, Tim. Miss you tons, especially on Sundays. And I don't give a damn if I am the only person that bumps this thread for the duration of ASFN's life.

I really like Taylor and have her CD's. She writes wonderfully and has a decent voice. But, her live singing leaves A LOT to be desired. In fact, it's quite painful at times. But I do like her lyrics/songs.

Anyone listening to Wayne's new No Ceilings mixtape? Pretty good stuff, with Wayne rapping over some of the best beats of the year coming with his usual mix-tape flows. Favorite tracks are Wasted, Ice Cream Paint Job, DOA, Breakup.

I don't know Gee!, I never saw her attitude like that. I am not a fan of hers, but I think she is a nice girl. I don't think anyone who becomes famous can be an angel just because I almost think you have to step on someone along the way. Her music is not my cup of tea but I think she has a bit of honesty in her music and if that's what people like and she IS fake, then she will crash hard for sure. Edit: Yeah, she doesn't...

FWIW, Tyler says he hasn't quit. Honestly I think they should all quit and just let their careers speak for them at this point but I doubt they will since they can still get paid to work.
Great band, Dream On is one of those songs you hear and it takes you right back to events in your life that happened with that song playing.

haven't heard it ... i think sometimes guys just like to get a little crazy on some tracks ... maybe he was witnessing some things he just needed to express
i'm a big reverend horton heat fan ... but this particular song doesn't exactly fit in with the rest of the collection (not that there is anything wrong with that.......)

I can definitly see the progress between this one and the last one.. I jam to almost every song on this new one.. Didnt have the time to critique the songs this time, but I listened to em all..
