Published (2010-01-01 16:41:00)
Hello! I am over 2 months into my SW aquarium and I am hooked!! Started out with damsels to cycle it and after 8 wks purchased yellow and blue tang and of course blue tang has ich already. A couple things come to mind here . 1 it got torn from the rock. 2 something is picking 3 it was always there and just not as noticable 4 it just appeared ... 5 could be a salt burn from a piece of salt creep falling in and burning it I would say if you can get it out and dip it in some coral dip or iodine dip that would help , one of mine had one the size of a pencil eracer that it got from I assume from tearing away from the rock... If it`s a bubble tip then I would say you need more lighting. What kind of lighting system do you have? For a BTA you should use T5`s or MH`s which have more intensity. WPG rule is quite outdated.
