Seeing you only cut the wires at the back I'd suggest it is the wires being round the wrong way on the left rear.

Id recommend testing with volt meter. Find how far the voltage is getting. Then you might find a duff wire or whatever.

tend to agree with the greek factor in our glorious weather, and we have other problems when it comes to starting.... (Personally i also blame that twat blair - but then i blame my wifes piles on him as well - and lets face it he has to be a brave idiot to go near that arse...)

When I got the old F, came with a Akropovic rear hugger, which is silver/grey which I don;t like so it is off at present. Would like to see if I can spray it up to chrome colour, anyone ever used plasti-kote or something similar & can say results are good? Thanks, OG

Wash painting like that just cant be done with areosols , unless maybe you came up with some way of strapping 10 or them together :-)

The rs250 rims are actually heavier than the 6" oz wheels! The 180 tire is a bit heavier but the over rotating mass is the same. Handling will not suffer, I did the same thing on onther bike, worked out awsome. Maybe if it were a track bike I might stick to 160 size tires and 4.5" wheels but it's a fun street bike.

Hello. Just got myself an 2001 Falco
Found you guys by searching for advice on how to sort dragging clutch on my new bike. 2001 black Falco, not sure what mods have been done to her. Always fancied a big twin on a limited budget and these fit the bill lovely.
Hopefully sort clutch this weekend and get out for a bit. Cheers...

Just purchased a 2001 SL Falco.. if yall saw any of my posts in the for sale.. i was pushing hard to sell my Fireblade...

Ok, after thinking out loud we bought a electronic flasher at an auto parts store. Not to use the flasher, but rather soley for the black plastic housing (aproximately 1"X1"X1", open in back). I gutted the brand new $17.00 flasher just for the black plastic housing. I have drilled a hole in the box for the rocker switch and we will mount said box under the speedometer. Is it from the newer Falco or somthing? I'm asking because mine has been always fine and it's 2004, maybe they improved it over the years? And, does it increase the effort you need to pull the lever at all? Remember - mine felt harder when we were comparing our...erm...levers...
