How is your RD getting around...

Jared started with rolling, moved onto a caterpillar/inch worm type of crawl (push butt up in air and push forward with feet), and now is doing the army crawl.? He does cruise a bit when up and holding onto something, but he mainly does the army crawl right now.

Great Toy! RD tested; mom approved.
Published (2009-12-07 13:52:00)
Thanks for the tip about the Vtech camera! I ran out at lunch to get a few last minute gifts and saw it on sale for around $10 so I grabbed it. I was looking for toys that could fit in his stocking and this looks perfect! I also got the Laugh and Learn toolkit (the equivalent for girls is the purse) and the Laugh and Learn storybook. Ok, I'm really going to stop buying presents now :) h...

Am I slacking on intro foods to rd?
Published (2009-12-01 01:24:00)
I don't think your a slacker I just think your letting your RD set the pace.? Every babe is different and likes, dislikes different things.? If your RD is gaining weight at the expected rate and is a happy sort don't worry.? Orla is a little younger than Caleb but she also is pretty much eating only single ingredient things.? She dislikes prepared baby food so I'm trying fresh foods lately so they naturally have a bit more...

Feeling frumpy, anyone else?
Published (2009-11-29 21:55:00)
That's me, not quite sure what to do about it! Lol! I've lost 5 lbs but it's been a lot of work. I'm still nursing and Ethan wakes a million (ok, probably 6) times a night. We just started letting him cry a bit and it seems to be helping. I just feel kinda stuck, frumpy and stuck there. I have a little spot of gray hair and I can't even get over to have it colored. I could also use a new haircut, but go with the...

Thats too cute.? I wish mine would come to me to poop :) He does his business always in the high chair.? I guess when he starts eating he feels the need to poop.? Well, I only have the one but YES, I so love napping with her.  It is the sweetest moment of my day when I get to hold a sleeping baby.  They are so precious and innocent...ahhhh... I can't imagine what it will be like with child #2.  Not as easy for sure!

My opinion only--I think we all have something about our RD's that we stress that they aren't doing when we see on here that most of the other RD's are doing. This may sound weird, but for months and months, many mom's talk about their RDs blowing raspberries. Lari still doesn't.  She is still toothless.  I remember reading someone saying their RD drinks well from a straw. And I know others are...

Lol Sandra that is exactly what I got Audree and I stood by them for 2 hours until Black Friday got started at Wal-Mart, they were a great deal. It was really strange our Wal-Mart stayed open all night so we could stand inside and not wait outside in the cold, it was pretty cool. Jameson had been doing the military crawl for maybe 2 months now and right as he started to really get regular crawling down he learned how to pull up and now that's all he wants to do. He's sort of crusing a little now but he prefers to take steps when he has our hand and not so much furniture or something like that. I'm thinking the crawling is going to be short lived in our house. We have ...

Thought it would be fun to see and hear about how mobile are little RDs are getting. Ella does this very creative belly-flop/scoot crawl and is getting quite fast. She is especially fascinated with any type of electrical cord and I'm having a hard time keeping her away from the Christmas tree cord. She is also pulling up a bit, but her primary mode of movement is this very entertaining crawl :)...

Hm good question! I have Luke's Christmas present still stashed away but I bought him an early toy cause I just couldn't resist. I don't remember the exact name but its made by Fisher Price and its 6 little balls that make different sounds. There are different versions like looks and sounds and textures and colors etc. Luke loves music and sound so he really loves exploring the different balls.

I guess I'm a slacker too. Caleb's list of food sounds almost exactly like Brendan's, except we haven't had blueberries or oatmeal, but have had carrots and avocado. We haven't tried yogurt melts or puffs yet, but his grandpa snuck him some Jello at Thanksgiving. Brendan isn't terribly excited about 'real' food; he could take it or leave it, so I haven't been pushing things.

Oh, that would be fun! We could do it like we did the baby shower exchange, through Elfster. We could even pick a theme - like books, or ornaments, or something small that way people don't have to spend a lot. Oh, another idea - we could do onesies with funny/cute sayings (when we sign up, we can put boy or girl and size). That way you can either buy one or if you're the creative type, ...

Yeah, I'm there.  I still have 5 lbs to lose and I wear pajamas all the time at home.  My hair is always in a ponytail and I feel gross.  My own fault though, I just need to get off my butt and get it together.  It seems like I just don't have time for me any more. Sigh.  It'll come though, and I'll be complaing that my RD doesnt need me any more!

Not to be a downer, but, I don't actually think that is legal.  You can't sell a character from a show w/o permission, I don't think.  Also, it is a little weird that she doesn't have any items listed for sale in her etsy shop.  I sell on etsy, and that is a major red flag!
