make sure all firewalls allow traffic through
port 80...plus you need to point your server to the DNS servers that the domain name points to(roughly)

Please answer if you know. I have been having trouble finding out how to use abyss free addition. I used portforward.com's instructions to obtain a
static ip address. Now only computers in my LAN can access my site. I can notfind out how to configure Abyss or my computer to allow the public to access my site. Could you help me? _________________ Thanks

I have installed the server and it is running on port 80. Before this I was using port 8080 . When
everything is ok and index.html is displayed well , the problem began. When I click on the icon for ' show console ' i was taken to url http://127.0.0.1 and the index page is displayed instead of the 'console'. Please help me to get back the display of the console for me to explore its use.
