Whirlpool Agitator loose
Published (2010-02-04 10:48:00)
That knob shaped part just unsnaps, get a flathead screwdriver and pry it up and off. The knob part is #1 here, then pull the cap with the handle#23 up and off, then remove the bolt#2, then the upper part of the agitator will come off: You need the agitator repair kit. Here's the one for your model you can order(comes with complete instructions): Manufacturer's Number: 285811 Jake

Whirlpool Duet F11 error code,...

I was wondering if I could get some feedback from people about their experiences with their whirlpool duet washers and the infamous F11 error code. Seems like this error code has been happening to a lot of people with fairly new, just out of warranty washers. Please provide some details of your experience with the F11 code: how old was your machine what did you determine caused the F11 code did you fix it yourself or have a service technician...

Whirlpool Agitator loose
Published (2010-02-04 06:16:00)
I am new to this forum so apologies if this question has been asked before. A search of the forum did not find anything so here goes. I have a Whirlpool wash machine that is 14 years old and has run perfect until today. The agitator is in two part and the top part is very loose. There is a knob at the very top, which I thought would unscrew the whole assembly but it doesn't seem to come off. My questions are these: is the knob at the top...

Hello, my washer just gave me the F11 code and won't work. I've done some checking online and looks like this is a pretty common problem. I read a tread on this site that had a link to the service manuals for 9100 model washers. I was trying to find a link the the 9400 models but had no luck, does anyone have a link for the the online manual for these models? Also, I've tried some of the ...

What a surprise. I have another code on my $3000 washer/dryer set.
Model is WFW9500TC01.
Code is rL.
And again its not one listed in any list of codes that I can find.
Anybody want a good deal on some really good looking, piece of crap washer and dryer? O and my broken ass year old 60" JVC DLP too?

I just installed a Coupler in my Whirlpool Washer LSR8200EQO. It all went pretty good and when I was done, I found a part in the bottom of the cabinet that I cannot identify. It looks like a Nail, is Brass in color, is 2 inches long, has one flat edge on the side of it and has a hole through it at the bottom near the point. I didn't hear anything like that drop while I was working on it and have ...

My Whirlpool Washer # LSR8200EQO stripped a Gear. It was running just fine, went to rinse and it quit working. I can hear the gear "burring" like it wants to turn but won't. This happened once before. I usually save all my old parts but this one cannot be located. I am looking for a part number and would also like to see an explosive view drawing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...
