Hello! I haven't been able to open Safari in a couple of days. As I try to open it, it remains unresponsive and suddenly changes the language of the Finder bar. I've sent several reports and nothing has changed. I don't know what to do. Please, help me! Thanks, FR3486...

I saw this issue yesterday on a customers machine (I work @ an Apple Specialist), Archive and Install fixed the issue, not sure what caused it, I was looking here to try to find out!

I was on a web site recently, and two white bunnies playing Badminton popped up over top of the web page. I accidentally click on them trying to move them out of the way, and I wound up on a strange web site in a foreign language. After closing that page and restarting Safari, some of the images and graphics were no longer displayed. Instead small blue boxes with question marks in the ...

I have selected in my Safari Preferences for the history to automatically clear after one day. After waiting a week, it has not cleared. I have the same setting on both of my macs (I have an iMac and a PowerBook G4), but Safari has not cleared the history automatically on either of them. Does anyone know why the history is not automatically clearing? Is anyone else having this issue...

I ran updates and, afterwards, when I tried to use Safari, the computer told me that Safari isn't working and that I needed to re-install the disc w/ Safari. I put the disc in the computer and now all I see is a white apple screen that never goes away!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not positive about the version of OS X; I just bought the imac in the Spring of this year. Any suggestions?...

I have no doubt, that many of the "issues are with the sites". The problem for Safari is that the other browsers work at those sites / web pages. Many web pages list Safari as not compatible, granted most will work fine using Safari. But I find that some of the sites will not respond to Safari when trying to fill online forms, especially if there are drop down boxes to select from or ...

When I try to type in usernames and such on various websites, the beach ball appears and Safari seems to stall. I have tried to empty my cache, reset Safari, and trash various Safari related plists and nothing seems to work. Does any one have any ideas?...

Tonight I went to the DNC site to watch a video of a musician I like a great deal who played at the convention. The site told me I needed at least OS X (10.5.1) and Safari 3.1 to view the video. I checked, and I have OS X (10.5.4) and was a little surprised to find I had Safari 3.0.4, not Safari 3.1. Soooooo — I came to apple.com, downloaded what is labelled as Safari 3.1.2, ...

I am trying to download an excel file from a web site. However, when I open the file it is all garbage and at the top it says that my browser doesn't support the "web archive" format. I am using Safari 3.1.2. I have tried using firefox for this download - no help. Any thoughts?...

I just moved into a new apartment. I do not have an apple wireless router, it is a DI-524, and it has always worked. I set up my network and configured everything, and for a few days everything was working fine. A few days ago though, suddenly safari, firefox, and even the old crummy version of Internet Explorer wouldn't properly load sites like ebay, usaa, facebook, and Yahoo! ...

Was previously using an old version of Safari on a Powerbook G4. If I wanted to go to a website like Slate or Salon or whatever, I would just type the word Slate in the address bar and it would take me to the site. With the new Safari when I type in the name of a site without the www ahead of it and the .com after I get sent to a search engine instead of the site. How can this be ...

While surfing on Safari I got an alert about a defective file 101, then a window urging me to download XPA security software to correct corrupt files. I'm hesitant to do this. Is this a legitimate Safari partner? Or is this a scam?

I was trying to burn some DVD's with no success (different topic) but following a final try, for some reason Safari will no longer open. I'm not sure if they are at all related. Now, I click on the Safari icon and I immediately get a color wheel and an unresponsive application. I removed Safari with AppDelete and tried reinstalling Safari 3.1.2, but same problem. Any ideas?...
