I found the video at http://www.ehow.com/video_2200509_using-html-iweb.html really straightforward and helpful. Based on its content, I'm guessing that the widget problem has to do with the embed code for the MobileMe photo albums. Now that I understand how to insert an HTML snippet, it seems all I need is to know how to find the embed code for those pages. (I tried entering the URL, that doesn't work) Can anyone help me with this?...

Ad manager recommendations?
Published (2009-12-24 08:28:00)
I've searched quite a bit on the web looking for a very easy to use and inexpensive (if not free) ad manager software solution. When hearing other people's feedback through the searches, it often sounds like the people who own or work for the company is doing the reviews not actual users. Google's ad manager seems interesting but can't add the javascript into the head directly using iWeb. Another one I've considered...

html link to verify google
Published (2009-12-24 12:58:00)
You're not linking to iWeb. Your HTML file is uploaded to Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites if you are publishing to MobileMe or to your root folder if you are publishing to another server. The URL to give Google is.... http://web.me.com/username/ .... for MobileMe and..... http://www.website.com/ .... if you publish to a "real" server. iMac 24 Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Is this even English? You should read some posts in this forum. Sometimes I have the impression that especially English speaking folks are barely able to express themselves in plain English. Or whatever the strings of syllables are supposed to mean. iwebfaq.org is run by a Swiss , btw. I'm from Yurp too. This is my Snippet tutorial . Photo Gallery template alterations?
Published (2009-12-31 10:34:00)
The index, subscribe, etc. buttons/links are not user changeable. Which template are you using? Those that a user can have maximum control over are black, white and formal. If you delete any object between the navbar and the album box you can move that box up to the very bottom of the header section which houses the navbar. You can also move the photo grid box up to the bottom of the header section as long as there are not other objects...

Published (2009-12-24 10:55:00)
I have a web site created using iweb, and published to mobileme. I create links to files posted on mobileme that work fine for a few weeks, but then the link stops working. I have had the same problem with snippets. They work fine for a month+, then all snippets stop working at once. Most of the time, I can get them all to start working again by moving them and republishing. Macbook

The Podcast template would not be the best way to have several music files on a page as, like the Blog, it tends to generate large files which can get bogged down in the browser.
It doesn't make sense to have more than two or three songs loaded onto a page to play in QuickTime as, again, the page will take forever to load.

There's not reason they should stop working if you've not made any changes. Have others reported to you that they have? If not then it may be an issue with your browser. The next time it happens clear your browser's cache and reload the page. See if that won't do it for you.
