Have you tried a permissions repair after the OS update, using Disk Utility from your "Utilities" folder, tia.r. As I understand it the game should run under SL 10.6.2 with your particular GPU, though there have been problems with some earlier GeForce GPUs. If a "permissions repair" using Disk Utility doesn't fix it, then I'd be inclined to try downloading the "Combo" version of the SL 10.6.2 update...

So I need vstta/7 drivers. But of course I am screwed for bot camp since I can't burn them on a dvd xD. I am also still running off tiger on my regular main hd so.. do not know how i am to do anything I assume it does not matter as long as I get boot camp drivers for vista/7. Congrats! If this is a "new" MBP, you will likely be better served by posting in the newer forum area for MacBook Pros introduced since late 2008. There are differences that, should you post a question here, could get you an inappropriate answer for your particular hardware. It was pretty clear to me that that would not work in any way when he told that to me.
