Eh, they messed up the tags. Since it's a soundtrack, it probably should be listed as a Compilation. Select/highlight all the Twilight tracks, right-click > Get Info > Yes change multiple items. Go to the options tab and check off "Part of a Compilation=Yes". Then head back to the info tab. The Album Artist field should say Various Artists. Leave the Artist field alone. More info:...

Acck, sorry ... I was thinking of the language that Vista uses with its version of the generic Windows messages and its problem reports. But you gave us the parallel information from an XP "itunes has ..." message: ModName: quicktime.qts ModVer: 7.64.17.73 There's been a QuickTime update since you installed your iTunes 9.0.2.25. The newest version is 7.6.5. Perhaps try installing the standalone version of QuickTime 7.6.5 (get...

Perhaps you could give much more information. Which ipod? You selected the music to sync with your ipod under the music tab? Do you sync by playlist? By checked music? Manually? All music? Do you get an error message? What does it say? Does the music play in itunes? powerbook g4, iMac 20   Mac OS X (10.6.1)   airport express, iphone, ipod, ipod touch

It is Windows 7 i'll bet anything. Just reading through these topics there are twice as many problems for windows 7 as xp and vista combined. Windows 7 hasn't been out long, so maybe apple hasn't had time to do all the bugfixes. Give it time I guess. Message was edited by: goshin2568

The apps should be in a subfolder named Mobile Applications. They will all have .ipa file extensions. Just drag that from Windows Explorer into itunes, to add it back to the itunes library. Same for Ringtones, if you are using itunes v9. Otherwise, the ringtones should have .m4r file extensions you can search for....

Hi, I have EXACTLY this issue. I built a new PC 2 weeks ago, replacing the old one, and my iphone no longer works, just this stupid 0xE8000065 message. PC: Intel Core i7 860 CPU, 4GB RAM, GA-P55-UD4P motherboard, Windows 7 x64. iPhone: 32GB iPhone 3GS The iPhone works perfectly well on my Macbook Air and my Toshiba Portege laptops. I don't have Win 7, but I imagine its file permissions system is similar to Vista. There are tons of complaints about this same thing with Vista - an account named "Trusted Installer" or "SYSTEM" has full control of some parts of your drive, not the "Adminstrator" account, like you might think. Make sure you have full control and ownership over the entire itunes folder, and all ...

Do you currently have a QuickTime 7.6.4 installed on the PC? If so, do you get any better performance if you install the new 7.6.5 version? Here's a download link: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ Upgrading using the "standalone" version of the QuickTime 7.6.5 installer will also update your Apple Apple Support to version 1.1.0 (If it hasn't been updated already by ...

I'm not sure that's the right question. For instance, when you sync an iPod, iTunes will be adding and removing files from the iPod's hard drive as a normal part of the operation. I'm fairly certain however, that the Software License Agreement that you acknowlegded when you installed iTunes will absolve Apple of liability for any loss of data that may occur directly or indirectly ...
