Ideally, you should use should use the original file instead of MP3/AAC. And you don't use MP3 in Final Cut Express. If you stop using the airport express, then you won't be using airtunes. How fast should songs sync?
Published (2009-11-12 17:01:00)
I haven't timed mine, but your numbers sound about right. After a restore, the iPod starts off empty and needs to do a full sync, which takes quite a while. On future syncs after the initial one, it only needs to transfer new or changed files, which goes much faster.   Windows XP   and 30GB iPod

Grr... This is proving even more complicated. Although iTunes ostensiblly lets you sort on a single column many of these are interpreted somewhat differently and may subsort on different fields under different circumstances. Having looked again the Episode ID field seems to control the order sometimes, but not others. For completeness I would suggest the following. Show = 30 Rock Album = 30 Rock Season = Episode ID = s01e01 - s03e58 Episode...

Hi triggerthatg, Which particular bug are you referring too? Personally, I download the latest versions of applications via Software Update and try and iron out any problems if there are any. It took me a while to find what to do about my External Disk Library, but I think I have fixed it. Are Apple listening? Will they release a new version that addresses these problems? I don't know. But somebody must. MacBookPro 15" 4GB, iMac...

iTunes 9 - disappearing artwork
Published (2009-11-11 12:56:00)
Due to bad habits I've never really used the drag 'n' drop for artwork, I've only ever copy 'n' paste'd - which has carried on working fine (for me, at least) since the 'upgrade', even for images copied from the 'net. I have a large library on an internal drive on my early 2008 MacPro and I find iTunes 9 excruciatingly slow. It takes minutes for iTunes to regain mouse focus and for the top menu bar change to iTunes. It takes tens of seconds to respond to pause/play mouse clicks. But if I stop, hide everything, and then bring iTunes back to the front, the responsiveness returns. This is ...

I've got the same problem. Playing movies and TV shows bought on the iTunes store, listing a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound track only produces static. Playing DVDs with DVD Player on the other hand works fine in regards to getting surround sound. Like you, I have a Logitech speaker system, Z-5500 to be exact. My computer is a Mac Pro and I use a S/PDIF cable to connect to the speakers. ...

Below Account, click Gift Certificate or Allowance, and then follow the onscreen instructions. Hope this helps you....
