OK, time to delve into network issues. It really doesn't matter that your other devices connect and work with the network - the problem is what your network needs to do to connect to your touch. How can i use, my iPod touch 32GB as pedrive? If you had a Mac, you could use PhoneView - there may be similar programs for Windows, but I don't use Windows so don't know of any. Alternatively search the AppStore for AirSharing, FileMagnet, WiFi HD, WiFi Disk, mbDrive and loads of others.

The reason they suggest waiting is so that the application liquid totally dries, esp if some should get inside. I believe the instructions state that.

You need to start with resetting your network settings - tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
When your iPod restarts, tap Settings > WiFi > Other. Re-enter your SSID, security scheme, and password. It should log onto your network. If you get the check mark next to your network name, tap the blue arrow again and check your IP address.

As an immediate reaction, the clue is in the IP number. 169.x.x.x shows that this is self-assigned. If this is one network that is a problem, it might be easier to enter the settings and us+e Forget this Network+ (you don't write that you have done this), then start again.

The same way you get any photos on the ipod, sync them.
Put them in the folder that you have selected to sync with ipod touch or select the folder that they are in to sync with ipod touch.

hi, i have recently bought ipod touch 3rd Gen.On the 14th day after i bought, it started to show a symptom. It has grey/white faint grid on the screen around the light emitting part. i heard this used to happen in iphone with version starting with 7XXXXXX.
