Nice work on making a computer in which the only functionality is internet usage. No idea what you're talking about!? These problems have ****** me off enough to where i am not dealing with it anymore... Are you a Windows® user... we might help you anyway, the OSes are quite different, but if you're expecting Windows®, then an adjustment is necessary, I run many versions os both... perhaps I could help?    ...

Streaming video skips because the computer is old and slow by modern standards. I have the same computer and it skips with h264 codec video which is becoming more common for streaming. There's a few things you can try but I doubt any of them will help much. Modern video is designed to run on modern computers which in the Mac world means multi processors running at >1 or 2 GHz, and on Intel chips with special coding built in....

Perhaps the driver set for the old printer is not quite correct in the newer Mac; and the vintage system has a better written one in it. There may be a better driver, or perhaps settings, for the newer computer that may provide better results. Some of the alternative drivers for some systems do OK. Not sure about support for that printer from driver sites such as gimp print, etc...
