Is the new Time Capsule your "main" router? If so, you will set it to "create a wireless network". The other devices will be set to "extend a wireless network". Make sure there is a check mark next to "Allow this network to be extended" on the same wireless setup page for the "main" router. Hello unconditionall. Welcome to the Apple Discussions! Based on your description of the problem, it still appears that the modem is NOT communicating with the new AEBSn. Please try the following ... o Power-down the modem, AEBSn, and computer(s); wait at least 10-15 minutes. o Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes. o Power-up the AEBSn; wait at least 5-10 minutes. o Power-up the computer(s). Welcome to the discussions! Open Airport Utility, click Manual Setup Click the Wireless tab below the row of icons to display the Wireless setup page for your TC. Click the Security setting and you should see a WEP Transistional choice. Give that a try. It may or may not work depending on the capabilities of your printer. If Disk Utility can't repair it, there's not much else you can do. Did you try it while connected via an Ethernet cable? That will be much faster, and there's a tiny chance it might work, especially if part of the problem is a bad WIFI connection. Otherwise, it's time to contact Apple or an authorized Apple repair location. They may have a way to recover your data....

The "trick" is to hold down the <Option> key before selecting the radio mode dropdown. You will now find options for all "n" on the 5 GHz radio, i.e., "802.11n only (5 GHz) - 802.11b/g" Note; however, both radios are used for the Guest network. You will not be able to limit it to just the 2.4 GHz radio....
