iPhone 2Garbage stucks..
Published (2009-11-07 14:20:00)
only the flex with the power button was water damaged, and i`ve changed it. no other components are damaged, because i know how to open an iphone. and even if it was so, i`ve changed 2 iphone boards, so the only components remaining are the flex cables, which are untouched.so this is not the problem. try to figure out another solving. 10x anyway iPhone OS 3.1.2

Flex cables are very easy to damage and they hide it well. Lots of people know how to open a phone, it doesn't mean that it doesn't cause damage. At this point, if it were me, I'd just get another phone. MacBook , Mini (10.5.8), Airport Express, iPhone 3G x 2 Mac OS X (10.6)

Hi Kevin,
You can restart the iPhone by holding the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears> then slide to turn off> and turn the iPhone back on by pressing the Sleep/Wake again, as described on page 46 of the iPhone User Guide.

Try changing orientation (e.g. portrait to landscape). If the same keys are dead it's software, perform a Restore via iTunes. If the dead area doesn't move it's hardware, contact AppleCare.

HI,
Time for a new battery.
Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced. Battery life and number of charge cycles vary by use and settings. For more information, go to:
