iPhone 2Garbage stucks..
Published (2009-11-07 14:20:00)
only the flex with the power button was water damaged, and i`ve changed it. no other components are damaged, because i know how to open an iphone. and even if it was so, i`ve changed 2 iphone boards, so the only components remaining are the flex cables, which are untouched.so this is not the problem. try to figure out another solving. 10x anyway   iPhone OS 3.1.2

Flex cables are very easy to damage and they hide it well. Lots of people know how to open a phone, it doesn't mean that it doesn't cause damage. At this point, if it were me, I'd just get another phone. MacBook , Mini (10.5.8), Airport Express, iPhone 3G x 2   Mac OS X (10.6)

Hi Carolyn, Thanks for the reply. When I said it wouldn't charge, I actually meant nothing happens on the display to indicate it's plugged into the either the mains or a computer. Macbook Pro 15in (early 2008)   Mac OS X (10.6)   2.4ghz / 4gb RAM / GeForce 8600M GT 256mb / 250gb HD

could be board probelm causing the faded display? As I read more on Internet, realizing there are mid-board, mother board, communication board, etc, which board is for the display? Does anyone have a link to the detailed iPhone 2g inside parts layout, etc? Appreciated.
