But yesterday lower half of my touch screen suddenly stopped responding and the device is totally useless and i cannot unlock it. The C-State for the GA-P55-UD4P can be found in the BIOS as follows. 1)MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T) A)Advanced Frequency Settings 1)Advanced CPU Core Features a)C3/C6/C7 State Support It is set to "Auto" by default. I switched to "Enabled" and the iPhone was happy. iPhone 3g   Other OS   Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

only the flex with the power button was water damaged,and i`ve changed it. no other components are damaged,because i know how to open an iphone. and even if it was so, i`ve changed 2 iphone boards, so the only components remaining are the flex cables,which are untouched.so this is not the problem. try to figure out another solving. 10x anyway   iPhone OS 3.1.2    

Flex cables are very easy to damage and they hide it well. Lots of people know how to open a phone, it doesn't mean that it doesn't cause damage. At this point, if it were me, I'd just get another phone. MacBook , Mini (10.5.8), Airport Express, iPhone 3G x 2   Mac OS X (10.6)

Upgrade to OS 3.1.2 which resolves a sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep. 24" iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core Duo   Mac OS X (10.6.1)   iPhone 3GS - 6 iPods  

could be board probelm causing the faded display? As I read more on Internet, realizing there are mid-board, mother board, communication board, etc, which board is for the display? Does anyone have a link to the detailed iPhone 2g inside parts layout, etc? Appreciated.    

Hiya before i do this can someone just confirm for me that is wont wipe my sim or lose any applications i have ? I will back it all up in itunes then want to wipe the phone then stick sim into new 3gs update that with itunes.. Am i doing the correct thing please?Thank you iphone   iPhone OS 3.1.2   .
