Guys, Surely there is a fix for this problem, I've been at this all day with no result as yet I've decided to backup all my emails, which I copied the Mail folder in /Library/Mail to my desktop and then deleted the following: /Library/Mail (the mail folder) /Library/Mail Downloads (the mail downloads folder) /Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist (the com.apple.mail.plist file) Which I believe should brings Mail back to its...

No, it wasn't the regular junk marking but a little different...almost like a fill label or something like that. It definitely is related to junk though because when I went into my webmail and unmarked them as junk then the label went away. Thanks for all the help, i'm assuming I can delete Envelope Index and Mail folder on the desktop now?

Software updated 11/24/08, and since that time I cannot get mail into my inbox. Error message is that the server at port 0 timed out. Seems to be a problem associated with the update, and I am unaware of a port 0. Server settings have been cleared with ISP and they do not have a port 0. Incoming mail is getting to ISP website, just not to computer. Thanks....

In some cases received images do not show in email body, but do show as attachments at the end of the message. In the email body there is a title for an image and a rectangle the size of the unseen image with a small question mark in a blue box. There's no perfect email client; everybody seems to want something different. I see no problem with using Mail as it is, but there's no reason to upgrade to 10.5 if 10.4.11 works fine. I receive e-mails with .wmv files. It looks like the "Mac Help" on my computer is saying that I should be able to receive these types of files, but I certainly can't figure out how. Any help?
