I think that there is nothing wrong with them if that is the way it is done in your culture. They can be very good because the families are very close and there is no chance of divorce. It also eliminates the long process of dating and trying to figure out who is the "right" person for you. However it would not be for me in my culture. I think that I want to marry who I want because that's what everyone else is doing in...

I fear Obama is falling into the horrible steps of George Bush lately. I believed he recently said he was pulling troups out of the warzone as soon as he could, and then a few moments later sent more troups in. Or atleast, that's what was in our papers. Is it true?

$600 billion, not trillions. Why would you consider democratizing a nation to be a waste? There's no question that we could eventually stabilize it, it's simply a matter of cost. That includes monetary cost, resources, man power, lives/injuries, and more.
So the question becomes: where do you draw the line, cost wise, of when it is ok to provide a region with stability and freedom?

I get wanting to know if someone in your state has contracted the Swine Flu, being the first person to of contracted it. I really do.
