AnimationInsider.net has the review: Shonen Onmyouji Related: FUNi Distributes Geneon Titles Review of the period fantasy anime, 'Shonon Onmyouji.' Following a struggling, teenage spiritual advisor / demon slayer, the historical-adventure animation similarly struggles to tell an original story mired in sub-standard artwork and lackluster voice acting. 'Shonen Onmyouji' is lighthearted and easy to watch, but is noticeably...

Vexille: The Isolation of Japan Appleseed meets Resident Evil with a touch of Mad Max thrown in for good measure. Great CGI graphics, cool characters, and a relatively unique (if pretty unbelievable, even for an anime) storyline. I liked it. It works well as a movie, but definitely could've been lengthened into a short series as well.

So I've been marathoning Rurouni Kenshin . While it remains to be one of the better shonens these days, it does fail when comparing it to the manga... (Can't believe at one point I actually said that the anime is a little better) There were a lot of "how'd he know that?" moments, such as, how did Sanosuke know that Kenshin and Soujiro/Sojiro had a duel involving batojutsu? NOTE : I've not seen any episodes...

Don't bother. It's boring tosh. I watched the first few episodes when they were simulcast on BOST, it's tedious garbage with unlikable characters, an allergy to storytelling, and whilst some of the action scenes are OK in theory, the pretty but poorly integrated CGI spoils them in practise.

I haven't seen any of this anime series, but the kickass logo alone makes me want to watch it.

The CGI was terrible initially but improves as the show goes on. Not so much that I'd say it ever truly fits in with the backgrounds and non-CG characters, but at least enough that it doesn't ruin the action. The story also manages to pull itself together decently well. It's definitely not Evangelion - or Hellsing Ultimate -level, but it beats a lot of anime I've watched. The anime I'm currently reviewing, Shonen...

Yeah HXH is definitely worth the read. It's been on hiatus for over a year since yesterday but it's supposed to start back up Jan 6th. You'll really enjoy the York Shin arc and the Genei Ryodan are just as likable as the main characters. It's a really well written series.

Let's see, I'm not reading any manga currently, but I'm watching several animes at the moment.
I just finished the last episode of .Hack//Sign , and now I sincerely wish my PS2 hadn't died so I could play the games, as the story continues from there. All in all, it was a good anime. While I really liked the glimpses of the characters Tsukasa, Subaru, Bear, and a few others in real life ...

Last Exile is one of my all-time favorite series. Geneon actually did a good job with the dub on that one.
Now, if FUNi would just get the rights to Cardcaptor Sakura and re-do it un-cut, un-edited, with all the original material - I would be one happy anime fan.

Mini Wolfsbane, Ouran High School Host Club is a pretty good anime, though it takes a while to get used to. The first few episodes are pretty bland, but by the end you'll have laughed your head off. I don't like romance stories, and when things cross the line into sickeningly cute stuff (with the exception of Azumanga Daioh), I typically get turned off. Still, this anime managed to actually ...
