The Fifth Day What a lightsome, joyous and singing place our Earth became on the Fifth Day of the World when our wonderful God spoke forth the myriads of little fishes and the great whales with all the other diverse kinds of water-dwellers so that the great Seas teemed with silvery life and the Rivers rippled and shimmered with the multi-colored forms of bass and perch. At the same time the surrounding air was filled with the singing of many...

I agree wholeheartedly. I just couldn't help but make an observation in the name and that way this other program is promoted and carried out. Did not mean to derail the thread. But, that name just kind of stuck in my craw the other day. Still interested in the names of the four officials from Chicago who are crying foul over besmirching the "good" name of CCHD.

http://www.takimag.com/site/article/twilight_of_the_godless/ Twilight of the Godless Posted by Richard Hoste on November 03, 2009 Feminism is a Darwinian blind alley. In biological terms, there is nothing that identifies a maladaptive pattern so quickly as a below-replacement level of reproduction; an immediate consequence of feminism is what appears to be an irreversible decline in the birth rate. Nations pursue feminist policies at their...

Today I received the May Issue of the Fatima Crusader in the mail along with a letter from Father Gruner. Of particular interest is the following from the letter, which is dated May 25, 2009:
"I have recently returned from Rome, where we continue to meet Cardinals and bishops in the hope of pointing out to them the necessity of reaching the Holy Father"
"During our recent trip...

Fine, then I'm sure Dr. Tom Butler is willing to return all churches seized by Henry VIII, right?
Tell him what: if he gives us the great churches and cathedrals, we'll give the Church of England the round "churches" and the "spaceship" cathedral of Liverpool, and call it square.

I read that in an email message:
"Did you ever hear that, when St. Louis first finished writing his first version of the Treatise on the True Devotion, the devil, who had a very real battle with the Saint, caused the manuscript to be burned! Then St. Louis very patiently decided to begin writing it again! He conquered, but only partially... the second manuscript somehow got hidden in a ...

So who are these four officials? Are they to remain unamed sources?
These liberals are beyond belief. The other day I was contemplating the name of one of the programs so beloved by Marxist Youth Groups, I mean Catholic Youth Groups ensconced at local parishes.

I have an acquaintance who together with a friend of his once had a private meeting with the bishop. This acquaintance told me the bishop was a humble, approachable prelate greatly troubled by the diabolical slaughter of the unborn.
Long live Bishop Burke!

Quote: The structure of the liturgy was to be clearer. And above all else, the goal was to promote the "active participation" of the faithful. So "active", in fact, that it turned my stomach. Indeed, the goal was the active participation of the faithful and not to render worship and homage to Almighty God in the re-enactment of the Sacrifice of His Divine Son through...

This front page above-the-fold smear greeted the faithful on this All Saints' Day morning.
