I wound up using ADB to delete the .apk file. No idea why it was so stubborn about not letting me delete it.

its now in the market..and yes its still beta..but android is still freakin' in beta haha..jk..but yea it was also in beta on the Droid, Google expects the devs to polish everything for them...and yes it is in the market just upgrade your existing app

No, an iPhone app will not run on android...
I don't believe there is an app like that for Android and I'm glad. If there is, the developer should be ashamed for developing an app like that. It will never be used for good. In this case, it just facilitates paranoid parents... and users should be ashamed for stooping to the level of installing spy software on someone's phone, especially a ...

I am running a unrooted G1 with open home app. When I download a new app or updated a app some of my icons on my desktop turns black & white. How do I stop this? I have to put the icons in the trash bin then add them back to the desktop to get them right. Thanks for all help with this problem.

Try rebooting it.... if that doesn't do it then u may need to send it out to htc to repair it

What version did you upgrade to/what version did you upgrade from?

Wasn't it already settled because of Drizzy that a g1 can't be unlocked to AT&T because of it's physical hardware and it just wouldn't work out?

I can't even get that far - I just get stuck searching the network. Does itunes have to be on a PC that's connected WIRELESSLY to the network, or can it be to a hard-wired PC on the network?

OK, well quick to complain...guess I better update this: I continued to have trouble syncing with EBOBIRTHDAY app then just removed the app and re-installed. Sync'd the first time to Google Contacts after re-install. It places upcoming BD's as a NOTIFICATION. I have asked the developer if there is a way to set a specific RINGTONE (e.g., Happy BD) for his app. That would be cool!

i'm not having that problem. I load Howard Stern shows that are 5 hours long and they get bookmarked OK. Shut it off, start back at same place.

You need to have your google sync on, go to settings, then data sync, then check off contacts, and i would check off auto sync too so that your future contacts save automatically.

the new version has been out awhile...
not quite sure I like it, but it is still a fun time killer.
don't like the fact you can't build a city by yourself. you need 3 people to do it. why can't I be the mayor of my own town so to speak..
