So the National Enquirer actually got something right. Well, a stopped clock is right twice a day. http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idU...eedNa me=topNews (I hope that link works, I'm terrible at linkage.) John Edwards admitted to having an affair with that lady who had the baby that was, according to NE, actually Edwards love child. Now he's at least admitting to the affair ...

South Ossetia is a contested region in Georgia where a majority of people are Assetians, and affiliated with Russia. Of late, seperatist elements have clashed with Georgian government forces, and today the Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili has charged Russia with arming the Assetian seperatists and as of today, invading his country after Russian military elements allegedly crossed ...

The fact is that as long as coming to America is the best way to provide for their families they will come and stay. If you make more landscaping in Arizona than farming in Mexico it's really a no-brainer. The fact is control over our border is a trivial concern compared to what these people are faced with. There is no comparing incentives. This post has been edited by turnea : ...

http://www.newsweek.com/id/149693 This is absolutely ridiculous. The US Government wants people to drive more because the Department of Transportation doesn't have as much money to spend on highway construction and repair as it did before. Who said that America needed more highways? Has the Government considered for 1 moment that the American people may actually value walkable ...

One of the BIG issues in Alaska is ANWR, of course- but you would be suprised to know that, though most Alaskans support drilling in ANWR, the real issue is the oil companies refusal to utilize fields that are already proven and are developed and they simply refuse to untilize. This finally made some national news in bickering between Democrats and Bush over drilling new oil wells. http...

Now ill with brain cancer, with one leg amputated and the other paralyzed, Atkins has only months to live, doctors have said. Atkins, 60, played a central role in the slayings of Tate and others in a bloody two-night rampage in the Los Angeles area. She has served 37 years in prison, longer than any other woman currently a prisoner in California, officials say. The petition for Atkins' ...

New airport security devices " see" through clothing Photos Okay, so you're not actually stripping, but with these real x-ray specs, you might as well be. These scanners are going to be installed at O'Hare Airport in the fall. I'd read about these scanners on Engadget last month. Do you believe that the security these scanners may provide outweighs the privacy (dignity) of ...

QUOTE(CruisingRam @ Jul 27 2008, 10:44 AM) I find it kind of wierd, sure, considering Uday and all that- but back then, Iraq was a soveriegn nation, just like China etc. Do you have any info as the the specifics of the case? I would like to know more. BTW- I pretty much believe the "games is not about politics" is about as bald faced a lie as you can get as well- almost silly-...

It is pretty obvious who the entire world is rooting for in our November elections. The crowds in Germany makes one say "wow". A guy isn't even president, yet, , and he is attracting major crowds wherever he goes, over 200k in Germany alone? McCain barely gets a mention, and is either ignored or, perhaps not hated, but certainly, not exactly having to worry about crowd control, outside ...
