It honestly depends on the disease. And I cant come up with a good one right now that I know the person would still have the mental and physical capabilities to reproduce. And if they did carry a disease like CF, or other such genetic diseases I would hope they would do genetic testing on both sides to determine the risk ahead of time.

I don't have definitive opinion either way. I really can see both sides.
