It depends on the insurance. She would likely need to call them and tell them she has insurance now, but will have to switch once her divorce is final. if it's the same company maybe they just let her switch it to her name? If she is single, depending on how much she makes, she may be able to get a medical card.

Spotting during early pregnancy is TERRIFYING but very common. Yes, with a hb stats are on your side. No cramping is a good sign. I am so sorry that you are going thru this.

I had this happen when I was taking Zofran at the beginning of this pregnancy. I was already constipated and it made me stop going completely...and (TMI) then when I really tried to go (with enema, suppositories, etc.) I was in so much pain that I was crying and could barely sit down. I had to take Myralax (sp?) for five days as well as Colace in order to finally go. I hope that you don't have a blockage but either way, I feel your pain.

I wouldn't worry those numbers are just guidelines. I am sure if your mf was worried she would say something.

It's normal. It's your hormones changing. If there is no odor or strong odor atleast, then you should be good.

I have noticed that over the past few weeks, I am not pooping out anywhere close to the amount of what I'm eating - even with stool softeners, Fleet suppository, or Peri-Colace. I have a history of intestinal endo (never formally diagnosed, but none of the doctors were able to rule it out or give me another diagnosis). I've been pain free for the entire duration of my pregnancy and, yesterday, I started getting pain in the exact same...

I got a non-baby blank scrapbook album (but my husband and I loved the look of it) at Target actually, and they had one or two specifically for babies. There are some really nice ones at Michaels, too. I started created full-size 12x12 scrapbook pages with our first ultrasound at 10 weeks with the pregnancy, and even recording details on the page as to what I was experiencing that week/month. ...

From what I've been told, the measurements aren't an exact science, so to speak. + or - 2 weeks is within normal limits.

So far so good this time around..but had them bad with my son. I think I could use over the counter meds. Also Tucks medicated pads..if they even make them now. That's been 19 years ago! :-) Hope you get some relief! Things have changed so much over the years..I'd definitely call the dr and see what they recommend.

I would pronounce the name Ha - ruin - a if I ran across this name and did
not know the individual. On the tape is sounded like there was a hard d in
the name. Not sure though.

I had a lot of back pain with my DD..it was lower, and like a strain, but had done nothing to it. My dr suggested a massage, and that really helped. Call your dr for sure though..just to have things checked out. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm not nearly as miserable as with my first. I'm not cowering in pain from
Cramping, I'm not as sick and I'm not as tired....It's awfully scary.

I think 21 weeks is way too early to be viable. Some babies survive around
24+ weeks but ultimately the longer the baby can bake, the better the
outcome. Most doctors want you to reach 37 weeks.

Ummm...and how do you pronounce that?
I wonder why some people give their children such hard names to pronounce...nevermind a name that nobody has ever even heard of before.

My advice is to eat and drink as much as you can today because they won't let you tomorrow and you will be starving by the time that you have given birth! Trust me, when you are in labor, you aren't going to care if poop the table....so many women do, the nurses and doctors are very used to having it happen and you won't even know that you did if it happens. Don't starve yourself today!!!!!

I went into labor at 12 midnight- nearly on the dot. I think we left for
the hospital around 6 or 6:30? There's really no need to be at the hospital
for much of early labor(unless you have a serious condition that would need
to be monitored). So I would think that you should be fine! You might want
to work out a back up plan just in case though- a few women have really
really short labors! Plus ...

I am almost a nurse! I graduate this saturday actually! I am just finishing up a BSN program and I will take my RN boards the end of January. I was in the hospital this whole last quarter and the smells...OH THE SMELLS!! There is not much you can do! On the nasty ones: c. diff, horrible pressure ulcers, wounds, POOP! I would just wear a mask and high tale it out of the patient's room if I needed ...

That's actually how I knew I was PG. I never had AF cramps while off birth
control. So when I started feeling them about 10 or 11 DPO, I knew
something was up. I continued to have cramping for most of the first
trimester, and all is well with our boy!
