Danny's version is acceptable, but It's nearly impossible to top some of the voices that have sang that song. But it is a very easy song to make sound good. There has been a blackout as far as album news goes; which I think is a good thing. Its pretty obvious that is deliberate. Too much leakage is not good, and IMO a blackout can heighten anticipation, just like the increased hoopla surrounding Danny's contract vs the others. I was lucky enough to see him live a couple weeks ago, and he was wonderful. The emotion he puts into his work is great to witness since so many singers these days are flat. IMO. Looking forward to many years of Gokey music.

First single My Best Days Are Ahead of Me is out Dec. 22 Album out "early 2010"; originally said March. I have a feeling it may be sooner, but will have to wait.

That's very nice of you to admit that you're now a Danny fan. From the reviews I've been reading, Danny is one of the top three in applause at the different concerts, and last night in Atlanta, people said he was second loudest. Most everybody that meets him has very nice things to say about him.

I agree wormsy!! I could see it as THE video, that would be awesome!! So many people I Emailed it to just adored it and told me today everytime they see the homeless they think of Danny's song and the video that went with it. knowvacancy did a beautiful job!

I wasn't one of those who had immediately thought of Danny going country. It took me a while to think that over, although a big fan of Danny's and also a country music fan. More and more, the logic of it made sense both musically and industry-wise. I'm really liking Danny's new single. He isn't putting on any big country affectations to his vocal style. It's still the same things I loved on AI...

I LOVE Tiny Life, and Danny sounded great, even not feeling well, can't wait to hear the studio version. All three songs are absolutely beautiful, songs with meaning, this is going to be one fanstastic CD!!
