That's been said about everyone from The Beatles, Stones, Who to

Its not dead, and it is evolving- but not in the public eye. Which is, a shame. BUT- its important to note that the 60's and 70's were a "renaissance" period for popular music. That is to say, dont expect that kind of thing to happen every decade- it wont- you can only re-invent the wheel so many times. Much like the "renaissance period" in the 14-15th century, or

I hate The Eagles. Henley, Frey and Walsh were all much better as solo artists with my fav cuts being "Dirty Laundry", "Smuggler's Blues" & "
Rocky Mountain Way" respectively.
