Why oppose health care reform?

As usual, you like to twist things and tell little lies to obfuscate. So, here's my post that you're referring to. Where, exactly, are the "personal attacks on intelligence" that you refer to? "This might be hard for someone from a colony of Britain to understand, but the military is provided for in the Constitution' police and fire departments are voted on, maintained, and controlled locally; road...

LOOK! Yet ANOTHER thread started by this "counselor"! BEWARE!! His "college" is NOT accredited... He will tell you that you can "practice" in any state in the U.S after taking his classes..... IT IS NOT TRUE.

What you have there is still not clear enough. It is not unlawful for anyone to practice counseling (or similar term) in any state. More to come.

SLANG HUSSAIN: Wasn't the Unibomber a homegrown, right wing terrorist? It looked like he lived a 'responsible' life by not yielding to government aid or using any socialist government programs or services. Hell, he had no running water, no electricity and used an outhouse. At least he is one conservative (or libertarian) who walked the talk. Yeah I know, I believe old Ted did have problems with capitalism at times too. I wonder...

Alpha without knowing the whole thing I'm assuming the courts did this because they couldnt find a prison that could meet his medical needs. I can see it already, this is going to blow out of proportion, they'll put him in jail and 6 months from now he'll die due to terrible medical conditions. Then the same people will come screaming and cawing that the jail didnt take good enough care of its prisoner. How I see it the court...

"Flowerbug says: I read your last post and tried to figure out what it was about schizophrenia that bothered you the most." Untreated psychosis was a terrifying experience that definitely needed treatment and required medication which I sought on my own. "Drugs can make you intepret everything around you while blocking your perception of lies and scams", Actually medication helped me to understand the...

Jess thank you for sharing, but no matter how much prove we put in front of pro-spanking people that spanking is harmful to children and society, they will discard it and just keep going around in their heads to come up with excuses, bogus studies and theories to avoid from looking at facts. If we lived in a society were children safety was a priority would be an agency were we could report these people here to be investigated, because the...

I really think it depends on the child, their behavior patterns etc. I'm the type of person who wants to say it isn't ever necessary and it shouldn't be done but.. man I'm not a parent and some kids really are tough to get through too. I think if you don't want to spank you have start with very strong parenting skills from the time of infancy.. and many people do not have the knack and ...

Are you on any medications or herbs? Antidepressants such as Paxil? Any illnesses that you are aware of esp. involving kidney or adrenals? - Been on steroids for any illness recently? Microadenoma of pituitary (in brain)? - Have you had a MRI scan of the brain specifically with low cut views?

Simply because they have abandoned the disciplines of their forbears. They are not genetically equipped to live the way they do, eat the foods they eat and think like TVs tell them to. Those who live closer to the lifestyle of their forbears enjoy better health. Hooray for honey! Cheers, JohnS

It is for the same reason that people fear any change. Yes, the health care industry in this country is certainly in a sad state, any one with half a brain can see it is headed to even worse territory, and quick. What good does it do to have a service industry that provides a service at such an inflated cost that only a small percentage of the population they serve can actually afford it. ...

Notice the words you used "brought to trial" there. You still have to be tried regardless. Its funny, the victim herself said she understood, yet you try to make something out of it. Grow up, if the VICTIM says she's not happy but understands why because of medical reasons then maybe, JUST MAYBE the court was right dont ya think? Or let me guess, after reading an article you are now a...

Thanks for starting this, Evelyn! How awesome. I think it's GREAT for people to be able to talk about this in a setting like this, where we don't know each other personally for the most part, so we can discuss hopefully, and not feel like anyone's trying to force his/her thinking on anyone else. I always found it frustrating as a meat eater AND a vegetarian, how rude people can get over ...

Having had a similar problem myself and only suffering terribly for years not doing anything about it the only thing I have to say is, there are a few ways to treat this and heal fully. You can use Young Livings essential oils (I Love), homeopathy, and or NAET treatments along with acupuncture. I tend to go with All three. Young Living now has a machine that can read your meridians and ...

I'm not sure how unbiased of a sample you'd get with just the people who post on these boards. With a quick survey like that, she would probably get a more accurate sample of the population randomly sampling people at public places ( shopping centers, restaurants, etc..).

My own thought is that there is nothing wrong with believing in conspiracy theories. I myself don't believe anymore that Oswald acted alone. People who insist upon dominating the dinner discussion with theories, stories and undocumented fears are the problem. When a person can't sleep at night because they're miffed that the public rebuffed 'em, thats the tissue. And when fear sets in and ...

I believe counseling is a natural human activity and that everyone IS a counselor. To take this further, I think counseling knowledge and skills should be made availlable to everyone so that this natural human activity can be more intentional and effective. Imagine the benefit to society if everyone knew how to effectively support their neighbor's pain. What do you think? Aside from the ...

They can lo-jack me when they pry my cold dead hand open to insert it. You have lost your mind if you think the American public would willingly go along with having an electronic monitoring device injected in them.

I am not a marauder, but I do think your post is pretty pointless. You should report offenders to Amazon. They do a decent job of banning flamers and trolls.

I don't have a whole lot to add to this topic, but I'd still like to say something. I know they can be connected. I have a lot of mental health issues myself. I've sought help now for over 10 years. Needless to say I've had to learn a lot about mental health. I've also always been interested in many different health topics. Many people do go undiagnosed or have been misdiagnosed. There are...
