No the one I found is 10.2 lbs. 14 lbs is the shipping weight. It weighs the same as my 19" toshiba. Granted my toshiba has a 500gb hd and 6gb of ram in it. The processing speed is what's nicer on the 18" one I posted, plus mine doesn't have a blu-ray drive.

Wow... amazing! About 50 people showed, and probably for catering and music alone spent over $25K... It was quite something... Lots of interesting people... glad I went! <yawn> now I am off to bed... Lots of walking and standing in high-heeled boots... not my forte! Good night... sweet dreams!

If it makes you feel better, I know of several people who cheated on their spouses to eventually marry their "affairs", and then either cheated on them, or were cheated on, and are now divorced. I think you got the better end of the deal - you just aren't in a position yet to realize it.

Glad you're back home, PM! Quiet day at our house, but it always is the day after Thanksgiving. I tried doing some shopping on deals here, but there are so many it's distracting so I gave up. Uh oh, the phone rang :(

Do you have any pictures of her grandkids that she loves? If so you can go to personalization mall and get her a christmas ornament with their pictures on it. I would not reccomend a digital one unless grandma is tech savy. Check the link below http://www.personalizationmall.com/

Hi Cody, Thanks for switching over here. It is indeed a good morning for me: I have a success story to report!! Yesterday, I had a small class to teach on my favorite craft--stitching. Of course, as a procrastinator...with OCD...and ADD...and insomnia, I waited till the last minute to put the project together. It was really hard to get going cuz I had to enter my dreaded craft room, ...

For a tiny and inexpensive TV/DVD combo like this, I'd suggest picking up one of the knockoff brands for $99 you'll find at any big box retailer. Spend the extra $70 (or more, normally) on something else. Toshiba makes great stuff, and for a big screen, worth the investment, but for something small like this, it's not worth paying for the name.

Yeah I have a problem with this too. My nephew goes to a local elementary school that has failed the standardized testing for 3 years in a row and as part of the "No Child Left Behind" thing, kids are being bused to other schools in the district (if they choose, they don't have to)...yet all I ever hear is that the teacher showed movies. When I was that age, we were lucky to see ONE movie...

I will most likely not gain any weight this holiday season. And everything tastes purple because grape is the flavor of the day.
