Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. If you didn't find your way into a chat room, you might want to try posting this in the caregivers forum, there's a lot more traffic there. I don't have any suggestions for you, but a lot of people who post in the caregivers section are really experienced and have some great ideas.
