I completely know where you're coming from, coming from a Shaman healer, pov. It can get irritating. A good healer has one job... keeping everyone alive. The instance is virtually the same except more damage and more health to go through, so I don't know why it wouldn't work.

In regards to your question I would say that WoW is as much for newbies as it ever was, and actually probally even more so. Your first ride through the world is often the most fun if you really slow down and enjoy it. Where people lose sight of this is when they rush to endgame...
