Thanks, I think you are correct with the blood flow and the meds. The doctor made the exact same comments. He stated to use lubication/lotion frequently. I am pulling off the meds at least until therapy. My plan is to take meds the day of therapy only. Today is my two week period after surgery and one more week to the start of...

Hello,
This can most probably be due to a fall, injury or you might have twisted your arm while sleeping or lifting weights.
Rest, apply ice packs and also take anti inflammatory Inflammatory bowel disease Ulcerative colitis drugs.
If it does not help you would need an examination near an orthopedician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Take care!

Hello!
You have a grade III menisci injury and also associated inflammation of the ACL and marrow edema.
If your knee is locked it would be manipulated under anesthesia till the knee relaxes and then the torn menisci will fall into its place and the knee is unlocked.
The knee is immobilized in compression bandage for 2-3 weeks and this is followed by physiotherapy.

Hello!
You can start walking and with full recovery start physical exercise and this will relieve the muscle stiffness and pain you are experiencing.
For osteoarthritis I would suggest you to follow up regularly with an orthopedician.
Continue medications and discuss about physiotherapy with your treating physician.
Take care!

Hello!
You can remove the supports which were used for fracture healing. The metals are foreign bodies and they cause problems by themselves in some individuals.
The recovery time depends on the position and the internal fixation done for different places at different bones. If there are no complications you would just need some antibiotic coverage and would recover in ...

Hello,
You would need a proper diagnosis to treat your condition. If it becomes chronic there is every possibility that you develop arthritis in the later part of life.
Take an appointment near an orthopedician and get your ligaments tested and go for an X-ray to confirm any bony involvement or an MRI to know about your joint, tendons and ligaments.
