I picked up my guitar this morning before I went to work, and played a little. It's been about four years since I was really practicing, but the bits are still there - not everything is gone! It's empowering to know you can learn a new thing and do it, even though you have some obvious deficits.

I've only seen one accupuncturist, and she told me that my neurontin was blocking the effectiveness of the treatment, and wanted me to go off the neurontin. It was the only thing that would help my Restless Leg Syndrome, and I needed to sleep at night. You might ask your accupuncturist if any meds you're taking might be blocking the treatment. I just got back from the doctor. He's getting me to have a lot of blood work which I'll do on Friday. The doctor is leaning toward the hypothyroid explaination with MS causing the weakness, but I noticed a lot of different tests besides the thyroid panel. He did say that he wanted to make sure I was anemic. Steph, what led your doctor to think it was celiac...

I used Wellbutrin several years ago as a stop-smoking aid. As expected after two weeks, the nicotine cravings decreased, BUT, there was an unexpected side effect. I suppose it was like a bad acid trip (I wouldn't know). We were out to dinner when the room began to "breathe," and the noise of the restaurant were bouncing off the walls. I left the restaurant fast and crouched ...

Have you been to a neurologist? It could be another attack of Meneire's, but it's always good to rule out central nervous system problems. However, it could be anything and it may not even be neurological. A good neurologist should be able to help you though. Who knows, something could show up on a blood test that there's an easy remedy for. Plus, if a doctor is saying ...

I'm glad you have this test behind you. All puns intended. Just take it easy and give those spots where the polyps were removed plenty of time to heal completely.

Wow, D.... he really said that? He may be their hero, but it sounds like he gets a zero when it comes to knowing MS or understanding each person's MS is totally different than the next.
I'm glad he's not your neuro, either!
