You haven't mentioned whether you used a condom for
sexual intercourse with your partner. If you did and the condom was made of latex and was used correcly and did not fail the HIv infection risk is nil. HIV cannot permeate through latex condoms. FACT.
Skin flakes or other issues with skin contact are not and will never be a risk for HIV infection.

Your question has already been answered. Your NEGATIVE at 5.5 WEEKS is a very good sign. It is unlikely to change when you RETEST at 3 months. All you can do now is wait the time through. Your previous test result is strong evidence against HIV, therefore your perceived symptons CAN NOT be from HIV. I would cetainly suggest that your "symptoms" are anxiety, stress, or somatoform...
